I’ve been working with Bryan Sandoval since March of this year when it came to the repairs needed for my Jeep. Buyer Beware: My dream Jeep became my biggest regret.
I purchased a used 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited from CDJRF of Brookfield in June 2025. I was told the vehicle had no issues and had a clean Carfax. Within days, I discovered a major roof leak on the passenger side whenever it rained.
The Jeep was also sold dirty and with bad tires. The dealership replaced two tires, but despite three separate visits to address the roof leak, it was never repaired. At one point, they even suggested I might have to pay to fix a problem the vehicle was sold with. Later, after their 30-day policy had passed, they refused to take responsibility and instead gave me a nearly $600 estimate to repair the same leak.
The leak is so severe that I can't let anyone sit in the passenger seat during heavy rain because water comes in and stains the roof liner, door, and seat. I've missed work for service appointments, spent my own money trying to clean the damage, and the problem still exists today.
To make matters worse, I found receipts from the previous owner showing this same roof leak had been addressed at another dealership within their dealership group before it was sold to me. Instead of making things right, their solution a year later was simply to try to sell me another vehicle.
I have repair orders, emails showing I reported the leak immediately after purchase, and photos documenting the damage.
Used vehicles can have problems. What matters is how a dealership stands behind what they sell. Unfortunately, CDJRF of Brookfield chose policy over accountability, turning my dream Jeep into a vehicle I regret buying.

Just wanted to give a shout out to several people during our recent new car purchasing experience at City Jeep Brookfield. Our first interaction was with Tyler Ball who was nothing but pleasant and accommodating for all of our questions regarding a Jeep Wrangler we were interested in. He spent quite a bit of time with us that first day, was very knowledgeable about his product, and we got no "pressure tactics" from him when we stated we weren't going to buy that day as we were still looking. He gave us his number in case we had any questions and we went on our way. After thinking about it a couple days we decided that was the vehicle we wanted so we basically negotiated the entire price via messaging with Tyler so we didn't have to drive the 45-60 minutes back to the dealership. His communication was prompt and concise and when we went back to get the vehicle, we knew exactly what we were going to pay based on our communications with Tyler.
We also met with Phil DeSalvo the finance manager who smoothly took us through all the documents and signatures needed. When a small glitch in the final numbers came up Phil called Jake McDermott the sales manager. Jake immediately went to upper management to inquire about the issue, came back and said that since it was their mistake they absolutely will honor the final price that we agreed to....I was very impressed that they held to their word - seems like a tough thing to find at other dealerships these days.
Once we were all done and signed for Tyler showed us some of the features of the vehicle, helped us set up our phones and we were on our way.
After the sale we were still owed running boards for the vehicle. Tyler made sure to stay in touch and let us know when they were in and also arranged our service appointment at a time that was perfect for us. We've since had those running boards installed and the appointment was half the time they said the install would take-kudos to the service department as well.
Car buying can be rough and frustrating and scary. But our experience with City Jeep of Brookfield was nothing but good all around. Great job everyone!

My daughter, who uses a wheelchair and has significant mobility challenges, and I drove approximately three hours to Brookfield for a scheduled appointment to see a Chrysler Pacifica that we hoped would meet her accessibility needs. Finding the right vehicle is not easy, and this trip required considerable planning, time, and effort.
When we arrived, we were informed that the vehicle had already been sold. I understand that vehicles sell. What I do not understand is why no one called, texted, or emailed us before we made a three-hour drive.
What upset me most was the complete lack of accountability. When I asked why no one had notified us, there was no apology, no explanation, and no apparent concern for the fact that we had traveled so far. The response felt dismissive, as though our time and effort simply did not matter.
After returning home, I contacted the owner to explain what had happened. I wasn’t looking for money or special treatment. I simply hoped someone in leadership would acknowledge that the situation had been handled poorly and offer a sincere apology. Instead, I received no response at all.
Mistakes happen in every business. What customers remember is whether a company takes responsibility when those mistakes occur. In this case, there was no communication before our trip, no accountability when we arrived, and no response afterward.
A six-hour round trip is a long way to travel to learn that your appointment and your concerns apparently meant very little to the people involved.
There are dealerships that still understand that customer service is about more than making a sale. It is about communication, respect, and treating people as though their time matters. Based on our experience, I would encourage others to consider that carefully before choosing where to do business.
I did quite a bit of searching for the best deal and these guys beat everyone. Customer service was great from the get go. No one was pushy and they have been very accommodating with getting accessories added. Shout out to Alex and Jovanni for helping me get the vehicle. 5/5 business, I even had a great experience talking with Phil in finance!

JT and the rest of the staff that has to deal with all type of customers when they are upset because their main transportation needs repair, are the unsung heroes of your employees. they are the tip of the arrows in your customers experience and will make or break your customers' experience. JT is one of these people that I am sure does not get the credit he deserves for not only doing his job but making sure everything was followed up on and handled properly. Great job JT.
